You know it's getting closer to college football season when the networks start releasing their tentative game schedules.

CBS Sports begins its seventh season of televising SEC college football games on Sept. 15 in Gainesville -- the annual matchup between the Florida Gators and the Tennessee Volunteers at 3:30 p.m. This contest will kick off 18 games shown on CBS this year.

Also on the slate is the Nov. 23 Thanksgiving weekend game between Arkansas and LSU; the Dec. 1 annual Army-Navy game; and the SEC Championship Game.

The rest of the games will be announced 6-12 days prior to their broadcast date.
