Jets sign S Worrell

The New York Jets signed safety Cameron Worrell on Wednesday.

The 28-year old spent last season with division rival Miami, recording 56 tackles in 12 games -- seven starts -- for the Dolphins.

The Chicago Bears signed Worrell out of Fresno State as an undrafted free agent in 2003. In four seasons with Chicago, Worrell appeared in 46 games and compiled 20 tackles, two sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
